I am based on the South-West coast of Scotland, a stones throw from Dumfries, and am regularly in Glasgow for work and play. As a graphic designer I love to use a lot of analogue techniques as well as keeping up to date with the digital world. Drawing, sketching, painting and printmaking are just as important to me as my computer. Living on the Solway Firth gives me plenty of inspiration from the landscape, and bringing that into my work is a natural transition.
I trained in Visual Communication at Glasgow School of Art and the Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto. I teach Screen Printing and Photo-Etch classes at the Glasgow Print Studio, and am experienced in the use of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premier, After Effects, Muse and SpeedGrade.
I am also well versed in video production and editing using Adobe Premier - skills which are reflected in the work of my sister companies: Wake Up Advice and Belted Media.
I’m as comfortable working on a full identity branding project as I am doing a simple layout job, so get in touch and we can start working together!
